MODEL CPC LL: LEAD LINED CORE
An all purpose door of lead lined construction. Hardwood doorskins are permanently bonded to wood slab and frame. The core consists of LD-2 Particleboard core or Structural Composite Lumber on request that utilizes wood strands from a variety of tree species. Both materials provide strength and stability. Both cores provide a uniform base for the hardwood doorskins.
Premium Grade conforming to or exceeding WDMA Industry Standard I.S. 1-A and Architectural Woodwork Institute Standards.

1-1/8" minimum top rail and 2" minimum bottom rail; SCL or hardwood - manufacturer specific.

Core and frame are uniformly sized. Core and frame components are assembled and one half of required lead thickness is bonded to each side of core.
Full width and height sheet lead is applied to both sides of the core. 1/16" or 1/8" total lead thickness available.
Type I or Type II bond, by specification, between faces and core/frame components.
