ABOUT CHAPPELL DOORS
The Chappell Door Company began producing solid core doors with nine employees in 1960 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, ﬁve years after the inception of the company. In late 1973 the company moved its operations to Washington Court House, Ohio in what would be the ﬁrst of several expansion programs.
Today, Chappell occupies an 80,000 square foot building, services an area consisting of all states east of the Mississippi River plus the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska, and has a capacity in excess of 100,000 doors per year. All doors produced are for the architectural, institutional, and commercial markets. These products include solid particle core, solid ﬁber core, solid SCL core, and mineral core doors in all species of wood veneers, high pressure plastic laminates, and medium density overlays.
The Chappell Door Company operates under the hierarchical principles of Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Productivity, and, with integrity, it pursues the manufacture and sale of quality door products while remaining committed to those principles as well as the development of its workforce.
